The Congregations and Congregation Candidate groups of The Satanic Temple in Canada acknowledge that Canada and Ukraine has strong familial ties. For anyone that is being personally affected by the unfolding war against tyranny in Ukraine, we hope that your family is ok.
For others, it is important to know that the ongoing conflict in Ukraine has led to a dire humanitarian crisis. If you are interested and able, the Red Cross is taking donations, and the need for medical supplies, food and shelter, and other neccesities continue to grow.
If you can help, please do so. The Canadian Government is matching private donations, making your efforts doubly effective.
We encourage everyone to remember Tenet One: “One should strive to act with compassion and empathy towards all creatures in accordance with reason”; especially as anti-Russian sentiment spreads online, remember your Russian neighbor had no part in this war.
